Custom Cabinets, Shelves, Cases and Other Wooden Creations

Welcome to my site of custom-built wood creations. I will build items like this for you. This diverse collection includes cases, shelves, cabinets, stands, frames, doors and even beds. And they are all being used. None of these creations has been posed in a designer home; they are either shown installed or before being handed over to a family member. Some of those in use are dusty and a few even have cobwebs -- and you'll see how they look in a home with down-to-earth people responding to their own practical needs.

Imagine you have no space and love to cook with herbs and spices. Lots of them. A cabinet that opens is the answer. This one was designed to match the over-stove cabinet.

The spicerack opens up with room for more than 70 jars of spices.

The depth is enough to handle both standard spice bottles and small spice crocks.

The doors open easily so a front latch is added.

Like many of our pieces, the decorative parts come from street bins and yard sales. This was yard sale glass.

The light above warms up the black-and-white cabinet.

The jar holders on the doors are pointed steel, created from barbecue skewers.
