I never get a chat login box.
If you get a message that reads, "Our apologies. You need a browser with Java support to view this applet" (Netscape) or a blank login box (Internet Explorer), then you need to:
- Use a browser with Java capability (such as Netscape 3 or 4, or Internet Explorer 3 or 4), and
- Enable Java in your browser:
- Netscape 2: Options|Security Preferences|General, make sure "disable Java" and "disable Java script" are not checked.
- Netscape 3: Options|Network Preferences|Languages
- Netscape 4: Edit|Preferences|Advanced
- Internet Explorer 3: View|Options|Security
